Our Journey

Founded in 2018 by Pastor Edwin Rajesh Johnson, our church began its journey as the New Zealand Tamil Church. Pastor Edwin, who completed his theological studies in Auckland, first served with dedication at the Methodist Church. However, a profound calling led him to establish a new, independent congregation—a place where he could deeply explore and share the teachings of Scripture and the Holy Spirit.

As our community grew and evolved, we embraced a new identity and transformed into The Living Way Church, a vibrant non-denominational congregation. This transition marks a significant step in our mission to create a welcoming space where faith is lived and celebrated in every aspect. Join us as we continue to walk in faith, growing together in our understanding of God’s word and the boundless grace of the Holy Spirit.
